Alappuzha - Kochi Backwater Holidays
Activity starts at 9 a.m. It's time to board a centralized air-conditioned state-of-the-art houseboat named "Jalasamrat", with conference facility that accommodates 100+. (To view the houseboat details, Please click the image). The houseboat greets the visitor in Kochi port, takes him for a cruising voyage through the most beautiful backwater stretches in the world.
Inside the boat, traditional Kerala cuisines will be supplied for breakfast. Television and other devices like the LCD projector could be arranged on demand. For light chat / conference/ sightseeing, the air-conditioned upper deck is available. It is also possible to take rest in one of the three air-conditioned bedrooms.
After the cruise around the Kochi region, Jalasamrat will reach Kumarakom by noon. it's time to have a delicious and typical Kerala lunch with a variety of curries to mix with. A great buffet is served with Veg/Non-veg items, while cruising through the Pathiramanal and Kumarakom bird sanctuary.
The boat will reach Alappuzha near the Nehru trophy-finishing point, by evening. Accommodation for the tourists will be arranged at the Punnamada Resort. 15 rooms will be reserved for the purpose. After refreshment, the entire team can convene a meeting at the conference hall if necessary. While having dinner, a stage for the performance of the team members could also be arranged on demand.
Next day morning, it is time to board again Jalasamrat to enjoy the beauty of backwaters in Alappuzha. Breakfast will be supplied on board; lunch and evening tea will follow and by evening, boat will reach back to the spot where it started its dream journey.
